@darrinLin why not? i never have to buy a paper notebook again and keep boxes worth of notes that just take up space because all my notes are kept electronically.
@cmaddex Oh ok, you mean math notes? I guess it isn’t so hot in that area, but at the same time, I would never pay 500-800 bucks for electronic note-taking purposes. It’s great for things like e-mail and what not. Real electronic paper is on its way to the market though!
I would get those. I’ll get an iPad when textbooks can be downloaded onto them. I hate carrying textbooks.
@darrinLin LOL! I don’t mean like a PDA stylus. I mean like a pen to take handwritten notes with, or draw with on your computer. just like the one I have on my convertible tablet PC. tell me when you take notes for a class and the professor throws up an equation, would you rather copy it down by typing out the equation, or by simply writing the equation? what about if they draw a picture on the board? how do you type out a picture?

where’s the stylus? how do you take notes with it? can that run matlab? what about octave? way to go apple, take a useful invention and make it all suckified.

Im going to buy this after the third generation or so that way theyll have fixed anything thats wrong AND have (probably) added a nice little camera but for less than this is now.
Definitely cant wait to play with it at the Apple store, though.

I will probably buy an iPad. One of the key factors is that at 1.5 pounds, it’s so much lighter than a laptop. I’m tired of lugging my 5-pound laptop everywhere. My main use for it is reading Japanese manga. The iPad will have the Japanese-Japanese and Japanese-English dictionaries that are standard on Mac OS Leopard and Snow Leopard. I use these dictionaries 95% of the time I’m doing anything in Japanese. So for those into reading Japanese comics, the iPad will be awesome….
why not just use a pda or laptop if ur gonna sit in ur living room i don’t see it selling.
you should have your own advertising company. then you could be hired by apple, microsoft, android, and etc. to do awesome commercials like this one and more of your vids
great song, but the problem is the ipad isn’t being advertised as a music playing device. “let the music come” just doesn’t work for the ipad.

I just said that I prefer an iPhone over the iPad. But I decided to add that Android is better.
So just because I don’t use iPhone, I should just ignore everything that is iPhone? I’m a Tech Savvy, I like all pieces of technology. Its just that I find Android OS better than iPhone OS (like most Tech magazines and blogs also do. ex. Phonedog, Techcrunch).
Well, when I fist saw the title, I thought it was going to be a iPad funny fail ad. I was disappointed when I saw it was an actual ad.
And I’m just surprise that people actually find this thing useful. Seriously, no flash, no multitasking, no camera, it is a huge iPod Touch!
