All we need is the retina display, that’s it. Can’t stand 3D my eyes go red within 5 minutes
apple takes things slowly. they won’t do BAM! retina display! BAM! 3D! all in one sitting. retina display for ipad3 is a huge probability but with the push for 3D in America just getting off its feet, its a huge risk to start off something that can deter potential ipad3 buyers… maybe for later models.
i love my i pad, rarely use my desktop anymore, but yes i do not like 3D, not much functionality.

Someone needs to make Fashionable, and functional 3D glasses. So you can use them as sunglasses but it will let you see 3D

In agreement to some rants about 3D: It’s true that it isn’t 3D, as it only caries 1 additional viewing axis. Horizontal. Where is Vertical, and where is actual Depth?
It’s more like 2.1/3D.
To avoid some confusion: Yes, the screen already has 2 dimensions, Horizontal and Vertical, and yes, you can speak of adding just 1 dimension to achieve full 3D. It’s true. But currently, it’s just overlap of 2 pictures, instead of an actual dimension added. In fact, you’d rather call it 2x2D.

@YourGuitarLegend The 3DS is primitive as compared to what’s commercially available. Apple isn’t stupid, just their iDevices are. As much as I dislike their products, Apple doesn’t need to catch up with Nintendo. Rather, the contrary. Only exception is the quality of games.

Apple is so stupid havent they caught up with current tecnology? For example the nintendo 3ds does not need any glasses but still has an amazing 3D effect. Who would want to carry around 3d glasses everytime you want to look at your ipad. Im going to wait till they catch up with nintendo untill I buy an ipad.
