My mom wants to buy an iPad 2 for my aunt because she is going through chemo and can’t do much besides lay on the couch. I know the price will go down for the 2 but does anyone know how much? We’d get her the smallest one, which is $499 right now.

I just got a new ipad.
I’ve had my ipod for quite a while, so I have a bunch of songs on it. However my ipad is synced to a different computer than the ipod.
Is there any way I can transfer them?
BTW i only bought a few of the songs on itunes.

I made a video using the camera app on an ipad I want to save that video on a file in my computer. I don’t know how to do this ? I was thinking maybe I could email to myself from the ipad and open that file on my computer. Or maybe I could put a flash drive into the ipad and copy the files on to there. It is my friends ipad so I can’t download any new apps or buy anything.

I am using a dictation app with a USB microphone for my iPad with the camera connection kit. However, the mic drans the battery faster than usual, so how do I charge my iPad while usng the camera connection kit at the same time? I read that a USB hub might work, but how will the mic connect to the iPad if then?
I have no wi-fi for my ipad but have wireless for my laptop. I need to download some free apps from the app store. I thought maybe I could hook up the ipad to my laptop and dowload the apps using the wireless service from laptop? Hope this makes sense what I am asking. Help please. Thank you for any feedback!
I use a GalaxySII android phone and put all my appointments on my phone’s calendar. I updated my first generation iPad to IOS5 last week. This morning, I noticed that all my android phone calendar items are now on my iPad calendar. I do not think I did any ‘sync’ set ups between my phone and iPad (maybe I did something inadvertently). Does anyone know how this sync happened? I don’t mind it, just wondering how it works. Thanks for your help!
